We process personal data of users (this includes all categories of data processing-affected persons) only in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. That is, we process personal data only under a legal permit: this is justified, in particular when the data processing is necessary for providing our contractual services and online services, or is legally required, a user’s consent is present and due to our legitimate interests (i.e., interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation and security of our online offering in terms of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. GDPR).

If you contact us via a form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for processing the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

4. Rights of the Data Subject

You basically have the rights to access, rectification, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection. You can contact us for this by letter, fax, or e-mail. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out until your revocation.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights are otherwise adversely affected, you can complain to the supervisory authority.

5. Organizational and Technical Measures

Your information is stored based on your active consent. We delete the data collected in this context once the storage is no longer necessary and there are no statutory retention obligations that preclude deletion (e.g., in case of subsequent contract execution).

Because you have given your consent, we want to inform you that you can revoke your consent concerning the contact inquiry at any time with effect for the future. If you wish to exercise this revocation option, please contact us.

To prevent unauthorized third-party access to your personal data, this data is encrypted during transmission using TLS technology.

7. Newsletter

You have the option to register for our newsletter. To register, we only need your email address, which will not be shared with third parties. The email address alone is a mandatory field for the newsletter subscription. Any additional information is voluntary. We send newsletters with promotional information, especially our current and interesting offers.

The so-called Double-Opt-in procedure is used for newsletter registration. This means that after your registration, we will send you an email to the provided email address in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. This confirmation is necessary to avoid someone registering with other people's email addresses. The purpose of the procedure is to verify your registration and, if necessary, clarify any possible misuse of your personal data; the logging of the registration procedure is in our legitimate interest and the newsletter is sent based on your express consent.

After your confirmation, we store your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter. You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time for the future without giving reasons and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter email, via email to kommunikation@breitetiefe.com or by a message to the contact details provided in the legal notice.

Data Use upon Newsletter Signup

When you sign up for our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to send you our email newsletter regularly.

After your registration, we send you a confirmation email with a link to confirm your registration. Only after successful confirmation, you will receive the newsletter.

If you give your consent, we use technologies like tracking pixels or tracking URLs to collect statistical data on newsletter usage. This allows us to determine, for example, how often the newsletter is opened or which links are clicked. However, such tracking is only carried out with your explicit consent, which you give by consenting to receive the newsletter.

You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter and the newsletter tracking at any time with effect for the future. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter via the unsubscribe link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or by sending a message to the contact option given below. The newsletter tracking will be stopped immediately upon revocation of your consent.

8. Use of External Services

When prospects and customers visit our site for the first time, they are asked to make a selection regarding which cookies and external services are used due to the visit of our online offering via the consent tool we use. For clarification, we emphasize that external services are only loaded after active consent by the website visitors.

Web Analysis with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored by a Google server in the USA. In case of activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity, and providing other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google and the processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website:

Disable Google Analytics.

Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. We point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code "anonymizeIp" to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

Google Tag Manager

We use the Tag Manager service of Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"), to manage our website and embed cookie-based technologies. For this purpose, your IP address is transmitted at each visit of one of our internet sites to a server of Google, which can also be located in the USA. The IP address is not stored by Google as part of the Tag Manager service and is only used for the integration of technologies managed by the Tag Manager. The Tag Manager itself does not set cookies.

Google Adwords

As an AdWords customer, we also use Google Conversion Tracking, an analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google AdWords sets a cookie on your computer ("Conversion Cookie") if you have reached our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire in 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google can recognize that someone clicked on the ad and was redirected to our site. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. This means that cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained with the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, advertisers do not receive information that can personally identify the users. If you don’t want to take part in the tracking procedure, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this—in particular by setting your browser to disable the automatic setting of cookies in general. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com.

Google Remarketing

Our pages use the retargeting technologies of Google. This service is provided by Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This makes it possible to show targeted, personalized, and interest-based advertising to the visitors of our pages. The ads are displayed based on a cookie-based analysis of previous usage and surfing behavior. According to our knowledge, no personal data is stored. For this purpose, a cookie is stored, which collects anonymized data about users’ interests and adapts the advertising to this information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device.

You can permanently opt-out of the use of cookies for retargeting by disabling interest-based advertising from Google here: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/More information and the privacy policy can be found in Google's privacy policy at http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/

Facebook Pixel

We use the Facebook pixel for tracking purposes. The Facebook pixel is a web analysis service provided by Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). It allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and understand the actions of users on our website better. The data collected by the Facebook pixel is anonymous and does not contain personally identifiable information. By using this pixel, we aim to provide you with a more personalized and relevant online experience.

Detailed information about the collection and use of your data by Facebook and about your rights and options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

LinkedIn

We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag for tracking purposes. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a web analysis service offered by LinkedIn Corporation (1000 W. Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA). This tool enables us to evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising on LinkedIn and gain insights into user interactions on our website. The data collected with the LinkedIn Insight Tag is anonymous and does not contain personally identifiable information. Our use of this tag aims to offer you a more personalized and relevant online experience.

JavaScript code from YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave. 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA (hereafter YouTube) is loaded on our page. We use the YouTube service to embed videos on our website. If JavaScript is enabled in your browser and no JavaScript blocker is installed, your browser may transmit personal data to YouTube. We do not know which data YouTube associates with the received data and for which purposes YouTube uses these data. For more information, please refer to the YouTube privacy policy (http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy). To prevent the execution of JavaScript code from YouTube, you can install a JavaScript blocker (e.g., www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).

We reserve the right to change the privacy policy in order to adjust it to changed legal situations or changes of service as well as data processing. However, this only applies regarding declarations concerning data processing. If user consents are required or components of the privacy policy contain provisions of the user contractual relationship, the changes will only be made with the users’ consent.
