Doors Open for Clicks: How Koch Türen Performs in Digital Marketing
Performance Marketing that Opens Doors – Strategic, Creative, Effective.
From the starting point to the last click: The case shows how we use data-driven performance campaigns for Koch Türen throughout the year as a driving force for brand awareness and sales.
Starting Situation
Koch Türen is a Tyrolean family business with over 40 years of experience in wood processing. Since the 1990s, the focus has been on custom-made interior doors in carpenter quality – about 25,000 doors leave the production annually.
The sales are conducted exclusively through partner companies in Western Austria, South Tyrol, and Southwestern Germany. Until 2022, communication was minimal – only with the generational change did the strategic opening to digital channels and new measures begin.
From the Ground Up
By setting up social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest) at the beginning of 2023, it was possible to create visibility and reach for Koch Türen. The channels are regularly updated with content relevant to the respective target groups.
The goal is to generate demand on the part of the end consumers with their architects, planners, and/or carpenters. Complementing this is of course market pressure, as Koch Türen holds its ground in a market dominated by a few big players.
From Social Media to Performance Marketing
Expanding brand awareness and promoting sales – today much easier with the available digital media. Therefore, performance marketing was used as a major driving force in Koch Türen's sales. With it, we can specifically generate awareness in the target markets. Awareness for the brand, the variety of doors, and thus the offering as well as for the currently running campaign.
Throughout the year, three promotional campaigns, which are exclusively displayed online via META and a premium network, are planned. While the winter and summer campaigns offer discounts on selected interior doors, a third campaign focuses on a door special (e.g. handles).

The campaigns incentivize end consumers now or during the promotional period to choose Koch Türen's custom interior doors in carpenter quality and contact one of our sales partners. And of course, our sales partners also benefit from our campaigns – through the increase in customer inquiries and orders, ultimately leading to more sales.
Each campaign is evaluated after completion according to predefined KPIs. Learnings serve as the basis for optimizing the follow-up campaign.
