Project
Jungmann - Furniture Store 4.0
Browse online, experience on-site
Jungmann is a traditional family business from South Tyrol with multiple furniture store locations and a strong local advisory culture. The task was: to develop a digital platform that complements the classic offline sales with a virtual shopping experience. The previous website was to be expanded into a comprehensive virtual product catalog, offering customers a comfortable combination of online information and in-store furniture consultation.
Our Idea
The focus was on the seamless interplay of offline and online experiences: A flexible system that matches prices and inventories while simultaneously reflecting the diversity of Jungmann's living worlds with atmospheric content. Through thoughtfully used filter functions and a well-conceived menu, users intuitively find their desired products - while also learning in real-time in which furniture store and on which floor they can view the piece.
The Result
- Intuitive Living Worlds: Each living world tells its own story - with atmospheric images and direct links to the displayed products. The color concept and visual language adapt to create a coherent overall picture both visually and thematically.
- Dynamic Menu & Filter: The extensive range becomes tangible through flexible filter options. You can quickly navigate to the relevant product area, whether you are specifically looking for a sofa or just want to get inspired while browsing.
- Content in Focus: From various modules deployed throughout the entire portal to time-controlled campaigns, content management remains flexible. The integration of Ametras's industry software with Shopware 6 ensures seamless updates of prices, stock levels, and product details.
- Omnichannel Perspective: The new online presence is initially designed as a virtual product catalog, which will soon be expanded into a complete online shop. Jungmann thus creates a modern platform that meets all the demands of stationary retail while also impressing with digital services.
Conclusion
The leap from the classic website to the digital product catalog marks a milestone for Jungmann and lays the foundation for the next development step towards a full-fledged online shop. Online and offline offerings merge into a holistic experience that caters to customer needs and already anticipates future developments.
