Mistakes as Fuel for Future-Proofing

Mistakes as Fuel for Future-Proofing

Authenticity isn’t created on a drawing board, but in real life. Guided by this motto, numerous guests gathered on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at the Leokino in Innsbruck for our 4th “Spilling The Tea” breakfast event.

Conceived as a “Fuck Up Morning,” the focus this time wasn’t on polished success stories, but on the “hustles” and resistance that make true innovation possible in the first place. As pioneers in ensuring the future viability of brands, we know that anyone who tests the limits of what’s possible must expect resistance. Moderated by Bettina Wenko (Fuck Up Nights Tirol), Christiane Gasser (ÖSV | Ski Austria), Hubertus Winkler, and Alexander Dresen (both from BREITETIEFE) shared their highs and lows and confidently addressed the audience on the topic of failure.

Host Bettina Wenko says: “We need to stop avoiding things out of fear that they might go wrong. Stories of failure inspire us to be more daring. They show that every failure can be a new beginning. And they’re definitely appropriate at any time of day.”

"The Ski Austria rebranding made waves across Austria three years ago. Talking about this change, our courage, and the public discussion—and discussing them with the participants—was, above all, incredibly inspiring. Sharing insights, experiences, and challenges helps us all move forward together and is very enriching. Spilling the Tea is the perfect format for stepping out of our comfort zones, shifting perspectives, and broadening our horizons—thank you for that." – Christiane Gasser | ÖSV – Ski Austria

Involved rather than just interested

“Our event reflects Breitetiefe’s core values: in-depth knowledge, interactive collaboration, and a deep commitment to addressing the challenges of our time,” explains Hanna Peluso-Nemec, brand strategist and managing director of BREITETIEFE partner ACC Werbeagentur GmbH, adding: “We make our clients’ problems our own and solve them together.” The morning at Leokino proved that it is precisely this attitude—facing challenges playfully and with a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor—that makes the decisive step forward.
